More exciting news this week! CF Talon athlete, Lindsey Mayo, was named SEC Offensive Player of the Week. After scoring twice to help Arkansas record its first soccer win over a ranked opponent on Friday and battling for a tie on Sunday (). Mayo, from Gallatin, Tenn., played 50 minutes with three shots and the two scores. She is the first Razorback to score two goals in an SEC game since Kelsey Allison who had two against Ole Miss in 2010. Mayo leads the team with three goals and six points.

Lindsey has been training with CF Talon PTR for the past three years developing the speed, quickness, power and strength to take her to that next level. Lindsey has been playing soccer since she was walking, chasing after her older brother Taylor who also plays for Union University”s Men”s Soccer in Jackson, TN. She played travel/club soccer for Harpeth Futbol Club, eventually moving to Brentwood”s Premier team winning a National title this past summer.

It has been an exciting two weeks for the CF Talon family with Matt Raines and Lindsey Mayo being named player”s of the week in their respective conferences. We look forward to more news from these two players along with the many other college athletes that we have helped reach that next level.
