Here at Talon School of Fitness, we are proud to provide free private consultations to anyone interested in starting their fitness journey with us.

Lets face it, finding a program thats speaks to you and your goals is hard, and sticking with one is even more difficult. How many times have you started something and not even a few weeks later life gets in the way and you never go back?

That’s why we want to bring you in for a free 1-on-1 assessment. We want to know more about you, your life, why you want to get fit and where we fit into the picture. We want to know what we can do to hold you accountable and how we can develop a plan of action to ensure you get fit for good this time! We are going after lifestyle change here at Talon, not just a place to sweat for an hour 3x a week.

You’re probably thinking; “I’m not in shape enough for this yet and I don’t know anyone at Talon School of Fitness, and I’m really nervous to just walk in the door!” Don’t worry about a thing, because you’ll find that at Talon School of Fitness, we maintain a welcoming yet professional atmosphere that caters to regular people just like you. With the knowledgeable, attentive coaches and the supportive community, you will find yourself calling Talon your second home in no time!

2) Meet Your Coach For Life
Lets face it, you’re destined to fail if you don’t have someone in your corner backing you up every step of the day. Big box gyms bank on you never using your membership, but we want to see you here each and every week making continued progress toward your personalized goals.

This is where your coach for life comes in and saves the day! You’ll meet this person during your assessment and your coach for life will work with you to understand exactly what motivates you and how you can work together to ensure you keep coming back and continue to achieve incredible progress.

If you fall off track, expect a call from your coach asking where you’ve been and encouraging you to get back in the doors. Simply starting and falling off track then never coming back just doesn’t happen at Talon School of Fitness. We are 100% committed to your success and well being!

3) Choose Your Path
After your initial assessment, you and your coach for life will sit down and work to create a personalized plan of action that fits your schedule, your personality, your goals, and your budget. If you decide to take the personal training route, you can schedule your first session with your Coach For Life and begin right away. If you are looking to enter our group classes or our Individualized Design program, then you will begin with our Foundations program that caters to your specific goals and works with your current level of fitness. There is no cookie cutter way to introduce you to our programs and that’s exactly why we have a 1-on-1 fundamentals program!

Classes can be scary at first. You don’t know anyone, some people look very fit and lots of the movements are things you may not have seen before. We understand exactly how you feel and we want to bring you into our school in a way that makes you feel confident, excited and worry free.

Our Foundations program is designed to teach you the movements we do in the school in a safe environment without adding intensity, until you show proficiency in the movements. It’s also designed to get you acquainted with your Coach for Life and to start to meet some of the other members at Talon without being involved in the class or study halls just yet.

In Foundations, you will:

  • learn to recognize and perform our foundational movements safely with proper scalings for your current ability.
  • learn mobility and recovery techniques you can do both at the gym and at home.
  • learn lifestyle guidelines you can begin to implement immediately for a healthier, more energetic life.
  • begin to discuss nutrition.
  • set attainable goals with your Coach for Life.
  • be prepared to enter a group setting with confidence.

4) Hybrid Memberships
Once you graduate Foundations, it’s time to start classes or study halls. At this point you should be proud of your new found level of fitness and the excitement to join a group should be off the charts! You’ve probably even made a few friends at Talon at this point!

You and your Coach for Life will decide how many times per week you should attend classes or study halls and how often you both should meet 1-on-1 to ensure you stay on track. These are what we call our hybrid memberships, designed to keep you engaged in the group setting and ensure you meet with your Coach for Life as often as needed. No more starting a program and never finishing it, we make sure you’re in the school as often as you need to be!

The social environment, the community and the friends you make will give you a different sort of push, and will help you reach new heights of fitness. Each and every person at Talon School of Fitness is dedicated to not only ensuring they succeed, but ensuring everyone else succeeds. There is no judgement at Talon School of Fitness, only a community of likeminded individuals who come together to create an incredibly strong community!
